BOWL 217 ~ YUZU SHIO RAMEN. KURUMAC. MARRICKVILLE.
This cafe is painfully close to my house, and I have been past this place ten billion times and shamefully never been in…until now! Already can’t wait to go back now. Yuzu infused in a very light chicken broth, and the citrus is strong here friends, but is welcomed. Toppings include delicately poached chicken breast, torched small piece of pork belly chashu, sesame seeds, lemon, mini herbs, and a peculiar amount of sliced red onion…perhaps a little much. Noodles were slightly undercooked and a bit chewy, and seemed like they must have been cut in half as they were short. Really enjoyed the bowl! Matcha latte was spot on, and the vibe of the cafe was 10/10. Would recommend. Other non-Ramen menu items looked really great, including breakfast. Open 7am - 2:30pm every day.
