BOWL 214 ~ KURADASHI SHOYU. MUGI TO MENSUKE, OSAKA.
This is hand downs the best bowl of Ramen I have eaten all year. Located in Nakatsu area of Osaka. A Michelin bib gourmand ramen spot famous for their hand crafted ramen that's served in a flavorful free-range chicken and guinea fowl broth. There are only 13 seats in the shop, and so there is always long lines. I got there 1.5 hours after it had opened and waited around 45 minutes or so. But to be honest, for that bowl I would have waited longer. This is premium deluxe Ramen made by a master dedicated to the craft, and one of the most skillful bowls of Ramen put together. I got the signature bowl - Shoyu based Kyo Jidori chicken broth. Toppings are a variety of pork chashu (3 different) which were all killer, ajitama, wagyu meatball wonton, soft menma and negi. The noodles are made from flour from Hokkaido and were INSANE. Broth had such a depth of flavour and the chicken fat and soy combo was premium. $16 total. WILDLY GOOD. 15/10 slurps good....
