Bowl 178 ~ Pork Shoyu. Bones Ramen. Rushcutters Bay.

It has been waaaaay too long between bowls! 😬
This place has been the top of my to-do list for a while, and finally made it today. Stylish little 20 seater joint is very inviting to enter and a warmth and energy to it.

Short menu (for now, I am told) of only 4 x bowls, a couple of starters, and drinks. Went their signature bowl to start with the Pork Shoyu.
Intentionally light on the soy tare, and a balanced broth consisting of chicken bones, kombu, and shitake which packs umami, but would be very accessible even for the most casual of Ramen eaters.

Two different types of pork chashu; the smoked shoulder was the best for my tastebuds today, that was super tasty!
Other toppings included big chunk of seasoned menma, half an ajitsuke tamago, spring onions and watercress.
My noodles were ever so slightly underdone today and still had a reasonable bite to them. Medium, wavy style.
Was a solid bowl, and I look forward to getting back next time and trying the shio and prawn toast too.
