Bowl 169 ~ Wonton Shoyu Ramen. Hakatamon, Haymarket. Sydney


Only been to Hakata Maru a few times, so plenty of menu options to tick off my list right now. The 3 prawn wontons were tasty, and a nice extra addition to the bowl. The shoyu didn’t carry enough impact for me unfortunately. 

The broth has seafood notes, so must has been heavier on the dashi, than the light chintan broth. Frizzy noodles were slightly overcooked so going rapidly into the soggy region unfortunately. 

Toppings included menma, spring onions, spinach, half a seasoned egg, woodear mushrooms, nori, and corn…corn in Shoyu just simply does not work for me sorry. Should have had chashu too.
