Bowl 160 ~ Ebi Tonkotsu Tsukemen. RaRa Chan. South Eveleigh. Sydney.

Given this place exists in a new corporate business precinct, I wanted to go mid week to see how things were shaking since they opened, and pleased to report it was a thriving time at lunch with huge lines for many of the local food offerings.

Pork & prawn blended thick soup, heated up by RaRa's own hot metal stone dropped in when served!

Notes of various fish components make for a really funky broth! I personally love thicker noodles and these are bouncy and chewy and work so well.

Whole seasoned egg, flame charred chashu is the bomb! Fried prawn ‘crumbs’, menma, and spring onions. I just wanted a little bowl of rice at the end to soak up the remaining thick soup!

Delicious work. 🐖🊐🍜
