Bowl 71 ~ Koro Matcha (cold) Ramen. Goryonsan. Surry Hills, Sydney

Yakitori by night, and Hakata style Ramen by day; serving lunch Tuesday to Friday between 12 and 2:30pm.

Super cool vibe to this place and very welcoming for both individuals at the bar, or large groups. I had the ‘Koro Matcha Ramen’, which not only looked inviting and vibrant, but packed a serious lot of flavour!

Served cold, with cherry tomatoes, tempura veggies, a half-boiled egg, cold dashi soup and truffle oil. The noodles were amazing! Firm bite, but certainly not overly chewy.

Not overly matcha flavour as some matcha themed things can tend to be too. A fully well-balanced bowl. Would highly recommend. I also had a small “taster” size rice bowl of the Tonkotsu broth, which was umami gold, so will be heading back soon to try the hot ramens for lunch!
